There will be dust. An unreasonable amount of dust. Plaster dust finds its way into rooms it was never invited into. We’ll cover things, seal things, clean things, and do our best to keep the chaos contained. But we’re taking a hammer and chisel to a wall that’s been sitting there for a hundred years. For a little while, your house is going to look worse.

There’s no quiet way to remove a century of plaster from brick. There will be hammers. There will be chisels. There Your neighbors may temporarily hate you. The good news is that the noise won't last too long. The brick stays forever.
